Education

 

  • Bachelor of Science in Banking, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Qualifications

 

  •  Minimum experience of 5 years including people management.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

1. Credit Evaluation & Approval

  • Directs the day to day activities of the Credit Analysts in the evaluation and credit clearance of New and Existing Enterprise Customers.
  • Monitors and ensures that all projects staged for Credit Approval will be acted upon within the defined standard turnaround time.
  • Evaluates and decides on credit approval deviations and escalates, if necessary.

 

2. Preventive Credit Risk Exposure Management

Plans, organizes and directs activities of the Credit Analysts in the monitoring of non-starter accounts in relation to the implementation of KYC (Know Your Customer) Policy.

 

  • Account handling of all new accounts for three (3) months
  • Call-out activities for new accounts on the first instance of non-payment of the first bill on its due date.
  • Establish reasons for non-payment, resolves disputes and secures payment commitment.
  • In case of non-compliance on promise to pay, Initiate account treatment, if warranted, and effect immediate disconnection in case of fraud
  • Coordination with concerned work units for timely bill disputes resolution.
  • Identification of accounts / customers due for endorsement to the Collections Team or to Remedial Management after the three (3) months account handling
  • Tagging of Blacklisted accounts due to Fraud in the system (eCredit/CRM)

 

3. Reporting & Monitoring Ensures that progress and results of preventive risk management activities are monitored and reported on a regular basis:

  • NOPSA Report (Initial & Final)
  • Documents to Follow (DTF) Report

 

4. Systems Support and Process Enhancement 

  • Maintains and monitors compliance of defined processes and business rules in using the eCredit system.
  • Ensures that all information reflected in eCredit are correct, complete and accurate to facilitate credit evaluation and approval.
  • Conducts periodic review of the existing credit policies and develops updates/changes to conform with changing market behaviors.
  • Initiates process improvement and system support enhancements to improve operational efficiency for faster turnaround time on credit approval.

 

5. Sales Support

  • Provides support to Sales requirements for training and orientation that would refresh and guide existing and new Sales Team on the correct and mandatory credit documents and policies to expedite processing of applications and provisioning.
  • Provides the following activities and information to Sales for ease of processing/ faster turn around time

                  - Pro-active credit assessment of Enterprise customers as reference of Sales.

                  - Regular update of Whitelist & Graylist and uploading in CRM  that will trigger Auto Order
