Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in supply chain analytics, procurement analytics, operations analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Experience working within supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations environments is preferred.
Duties and Reponsibilities
The role serves as a key partner to procurement, logistics, warehouse, planning, finance, and operations teams by providing accurate analysis, identifying trends and process inefficiencies, and developing performance dashboards and management reports.
1. Data Analytics & Business Insights
- Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze large volumes of supply chain data from multiple systems and sources.
- Develop analytical models to identify operational trends, risks, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
- Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to support supply chain planning and decision-making.
- Analyze procurement spend, supplier performance, inventory movements, logistics costs, demand patterns, and service levels.
- Translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
- Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency, cost savings, process compliance, and customer service performance.
2. Data Mining & Data Management
- Extract and mine data from ERP systems, databases, procurement systems, logistics platforms, and spreadsheets.
- Conduct data cleansing, normalization, validation, and integrity checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Develop automated data extraction and transformation processes where applicable.
- Maintain data repositories, reporting templates, and master data consistency.
- Identify anomalies, exceptions, and data quality gaps impacting reporting and operational performance.
- Support governance initiatives related to data standards and reporting accuracy.
3. Process Review & Continuous Improvement
- Review end-to-end supply chain processes to identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, and control gaps.
- Conduct process mapping and workflow analysis across procurement, logistics, inventory, warehouse, and planning functions.
- Support process improvement initiatives using data-driven recommendations.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs and operational excellence initiatives.
- Monitor implementation of corrective actions and process enhancement initiatives.
- Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and governance controls.
4. Gap Analysis & Performance Monitoring
- Conduct gap analysis between current operational performance and defined KPIs, SLAs, policies, and targets.
- Identify root causes of process failures, delays, overspending, inventory variances, and service disruptions.
- Develop variance analysis reports and operational performance scorecards.
- Recommend corrective actions and improvement plans based on analytical findings.
- Monitor compliance with procurement policies, inventory controls, and operational governance requirements.
5. Reporting & Dashboard Management
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for management, operations, and executive leadership.
- Develop dashboards and visualization tools for supply chain KPIs and operational metrics.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of procurement savings, inventory levels and aging, supplier performance, logistics costs, forecast accuracy, and operational productivity.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency where possible.
