Education

• Bachelor's degree holder or graduate of a 4-year course, preferably in Behavioral Sciences, Psychology. Communication Arts

Qualifications

Work Experience
• With at least one (1) year experience as Jr. Training Specialist or any related position or preferably with at least three (3) years experience in training, sales, and/or customer service


Training (MUST training only) 
• Product Knowledge (or any related training)
• Effective Business Presentation Workshop
• Advanced Effective Business Presentation Workshop


Traits/Attitudes/Other Skills
• Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Capacity to train
• Ability to develop training modules 
• Basic knowledge of Learning Management System maintenance
• With excellent oral & written skills 
• With good moral character
• Must possess professional integrity relative to his job
• Should be flexible and able to work well under pressure
• Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision 
• Self-motivated & positive

Duties and Responsibilities

The Training Specialist is expected to perform the following duties with moderate or limited supervision:


BASIC SCOPE:
• Category/Product-focused training 
• Training materials development 
• Knowledge Update 
• eLearning Maintenance 
• Sales Support


Category/Product-focused Training
1. Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to determine appropriate training method for specific Marketing update 
2. Facilitate category-specific training to Training Champions through Train-The-Trainer (TTT) sessions
3. Evaluate training effectiveness by:
• Surveys
• Skills observation
4. Ensure self-mastery of category/product


Training Materials Development
1. Develop training materials based on TNA
2. Customize modules, product and non-product, to fit training needs
3. Create assessments based on appropriate training methods
4. Ensure timely delivery of training materials to Training Champions


Knowledge Update
1. Update AlaminNew segment
2. Update Sales Kit
3. Update Menu Card & Product Detailers 
4. Update Other Pertinent References


eLearning Maintenance
1. Create online modules using eLearning database 
2. Develop online knowledge checks/assessments using eLearning database
3. Update eLearning database files as necessary


Sales Support
1. Co-develop events & facilitate conduct as needed by sales (i.e. FLA Assembly, CSF Kamustahan, etc)
2. Co-manage the HSD Academy to ensure developmental growth & training of all retail sales personnel


Special Projects
Conduct studies / develop programs in relation to Home SSPM or HOME initiatives as assigned by the Training Team Head or Division Head


Perform other related tasks as assigned from time-to-time.
