Education

Graduate of BS Customs Administration course with equivalent related experience preferred  

Qualifications

  • Preferably with experience in the import and export operations for at least 2 years
  • Knowledgeable in the Import and Export Logistics Operations, Customs Tariff Code classification, International Freight forwarding and Customs Brokerage Services
  • Familiar with the online systems of Bureau of Customs (such as E2M, NSW and BOl), Optical Media Board Portal, airlines and shipping lines
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications 
  • With Analytical Thinking and Problem-solving skills 
  • Proficient in Oral and Written communications 
  • Quality, Detailed and Results Oriented  

Duties and Reponsibilities

  • Prepare and submit import permit applications, and track the approval process for permits from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Optical Media Board (OMB).
  • Provide status and updates on import permits and shipments to both internal and external customers.
  • Manage the registration of Bluetooth devices, the applications for cargo marine insurance and submission of necessary documents to facilitate the release and delivery of imported shipments.
  • Handle the invoice and permit details transaction into the online ImpEx System to generate an automatic delivery tickets for imported goods..
  • Ensure the accuracy of tariff classifications (HS Codes) in the List of Importables (LOI) to meet the requirements for Customs SGL accreditation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, brokers and government agencies (such as the Bureau of Customs and Optical Media Board) to ensure compliance and renewal of Import/ Export licenses.
  • Review and process payment requests for freight, brokerage invoices, ensuring thorough tracking and monitoring of payments.
  • Assist in monitoring the performance of the third-party providers and regularly update the delivery performance scorecard. Compile and address issues in the brokers' reports in a timely manner.
  • Ensure import/export documents compliance with SARBOX, Customs and BIR audit requirements.
