Education

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or other equivalent degree

Qualifications

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience in General Accounting or any field in Finance is preferred but not a MUST.

Other Qualifications (license, certification, trade tests, others)

• Preferably a CPA

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• High analytical ability

• Preferably knowledgeable in using SAP applications; MS Office applications

• Knowledge in Sarbanes

Duties and Reponsibilities

REGULAR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Entry level position, performs with learning competency and proficiency the following financial accounting functions:

1. Handles preparation of journal entries related to Inventory, CIP, Property Plant and Equipment including employee accountabilities in compliance with GAAP, Tax requirement, Sarbox and company policies.
2. Monitors the cost of projects under construction until completion
3. Handles Project System (PS) Clearing Run, Settlement and Technically Complete (TECO) Capitalization
4. Prepare monthly schedules of accrued liability accounts and submits variance analysis of handled asset accounts
5. Prepares various monthly reports needed for internal and external reporting.
6. Conduct physical count in warehouses to ensure accuracy of reported network inventories.
7. Attests opening of bids related to PPE, CIP projects and asset disposal
8. Conducts review and testing of Finance Owned sub-process in compliance to SOX 404. Also, handles walkthrough for SGV and Internal audit testing.
